Connecting to a Wi-Fi Network
To connect to a Wi-Fi network on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch:
- Go to Settings > Wi-Fi.
- Turn on Wi-Fi.
- Select the name of the network you want to join.
- If the network is password-protected, enter the password.
For hidden networks, enter the name of the network and then tap "Join".
Troubleshooting Connection Issues
If you're having trouble connecting to a Wi-Fi network, try the following:
- Try connecting to the network in a different location. If your device can connect in another location, the problem may be with your Wi-Fi network.
- Restart your iPhone.
- Reset your network settings.
Grayed Out Wi-Fi Option
If the Wi-Fi option on your iPhone is grayed out, try the following:
- Make sure that your iPhone is not in Airplane Mode.
- Restart your iPhone.
- Reset your network settings.
