Her father, Bob Menendez, is a first-generation American of Cuban descent. Her mother, Jane Jacobsen, is a teacher and a member of the Union City Board of Education. Alicia Menendez has two brothers, Robert Jr. and Nicholas.

Education and Career

Alicia Menendez graduated from Columbia University with a degree in history. After graduating from college, she worked as a producer and writer for various television shows and documentaries. In 2014, she joined MSNBC as a host and political commentator.
